B Informed. B Prepared. B Vaccinated.

BEXSERO is the only meningitis B vaccine that can be completed in as early as 1 month with just 2 doses.

BEXSERO is an FDA-approved vaccine to prevent invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B. BEXSERO is approved for use in individuals 10 through 25 years of age.

Approval of BEXSERO is based on demonstration of immune response against three serogroup B strains representative of prevalent strains in the United States. The effectiveness of BEXSERO against diverse serogroup B strains has not been confirmed.

BEXSERO may not protect all individuals.

More than 95% of 16–23 year-olds aren’t vaccinated against meningitis B*

Even though they have an increased risk of getting meningitis B, most teens and young adults haven't been vaccinated against meningitis B. Why? Because there wasn't a vaccine available until late 2014.

BEXSERO can help.

WHAT IS MENINGITIS B?

Meningococcal group B disease (also known as meningitis B) is a rare but serious disease that is caused by a bacterial infection of the lining of the brain and spinal cord. It can also cause a severe infection of the blood called meningococcal septicemia. It progresses quickly and can be fatal, sometimes within 24 hours. Teens and young adults have an increased risk for meningitis B due to several factors, such as living in close quarters and having close contact with others.
